Spliff city Amsterdam
Flashing lights, flashing bikes
Cloudless skies, canal streets
Amsterdam, the city that seldom sleeps
I have seen the best minds of my
generations
Contorting in reinvented churches
Inevitably high on cocaine and weed
Synthetic LSD and a good scoop of ice
Amsterdam, you are filled with lies
Tourist traps, 20 minute naps
Reveling in streets bombarded with art
Where the architecture softens your
heart
You walk the beat and scroll the
sights
Merrily marching towards the light
Enticed by its red bright color
Forgetful about the ages of men
Unworried, unbalanced and unrepent
